I know I haven’t been posting much lately. Here’s the reason:
Now that Katie’s on her way back home (she should be landing in about 20 minutes), I’m a) lugubrious, and b) likely to resume posting four times a day rather than two.

She landed not in the expected 20 minutes, but rather about 70 minutes later. …Nearly missed her ferry, but got a ride home from a roommate rather than taking a 2 hour bus trip all over the greater Victoria area. …Needless to say, she is more than happy to finally be at home and very very close to bed – although she deeply misses NYC and her favorite blogger.
You may blame her for your lack of blogging – but she blames you for now wanting to be on the other side of the continent indefinitely and immediately.

Now *I* have katie beside me. You two make me sick you’re so adorable. You’re not really saying you’d rather blog 4 times a day than have this beauty by your side are you?! She taught me how to tie pirate knots! Who wouldn’t want her???
