I’ll try not to neglect this blog for 35 hours straight again. Even if I go to a department party that makes me think I’m going to an English boarding school rather than to an American grad school and that gets me so exhausted I go to sleep right after I come back instead of blogging in between.
By the way, via Majikthise, I’ve just found 24 hours too late that Bush’s admitting that the CIA is torturing people at secret prisons. I presume that Bush thinks that the emphasis in the expression “Bush lied, people died” is on “Bush lied,” so killing and torturing is okay when he admits it.
