For the past 2 or 3 days I’ve been subject to absurdly slow bandwidth. Now I know why: I’m limited to a bandwidth upload quota of 180 megs per hour, which I’ve breached more or less continuously because of Morpheus’s filesharing. Expect my posting frequency to sharply go up.

Don’t they inform you of such quotas *before* you move in? …I’m thinking you missed an info pamphlet somewhere with this information and your rent information. ha. At guelph we got 3000 megs per week (so roughly 17 per hour.)
Well, they said something about quotas when I first got my email address, but they never said what the quotas were. I had to check them from within the system, and by the time I moved in, I’d forgotten all about it. I just remembered an hour ago.
This is, to a large extent, a free space. I don't delete comments unless they're spam, viruses, impersonations, etc. Shameless blog-whoring doesn't count as spam, because that would just be hypocritical.
