Intelligent design buffoons are not the only people with political clout who spread lies about science. PZ eviscerates an anti-genetics article by Deepak Chopra, the Huffington Post’s resident anti-scientist.
Lindsay dons her journalist hat and writes about the no-fly list scandal on Alternet: “The Transportation Security Administration’s secret no-fly list includes some very unlikely terror suspects — Bolivian president Evo Morales, 14 of the 19 dead 9/11 hijackers, and every single person named ‘Robert Johnson.'”
The same idiot who told the Feministing bloggers that they should be brutally slaughtered spammed a comment thread on Echidne’s blog. Now that I’ve read the entire comment, I’m not convinced it’s serious; reading just the first paragraph made me think it was satire (the part Jessica excerpted was the second paragraph).
Shelby Knox guest-posts on Feministing about a book propagating the myth that women who “act like men” are not discriminated against.

New Agers, anti-evolutionists, and climate-change deniers must all meet up somewhere around the bend. (Hat tip to Alon Levy.) […]
