I Haven’t Done This in a Long Time

I think I should resurrect the tradition I started during Yearly Kos of posting cynical observations in bullet point format.

1. I’m not sure whether people don’t read me that often or just snub me when it comes to links. Maybe I just need good cephalopod porn videos.
2. I go out a lot less than I thought I would. I Blame the Hilly Streets. Morningside Heights isn’t quite as bad as San Francisco, but it’s close.

3. Katie likes calling me a robot. Getting asked the same question three times in one Help Room session certainly makes me feel like one.

4. On the other hand, the Help Room did give me a really nifty problem in probability I’m going to post about soon (speaking of which, Echidne’s third statistics post is up).

Robots don’t like hills. It burns their batteries/energy too fast.
When you are here you will get a stellar cephalopod porn video. I promise….(No really, I’m not being gross here, he really will!)

Mr Levy, at least on a screen setting of 1280 x 1024, the text on your site is so large as to make it difficult to read in any coherent fashion.

  3. kian says:

ah, but on my roommates laptop she had to adjust the font sices a few million times because it was much MUCH too small on her screen .

  4. Alon Levy says:

Dana, I don’t know about you, but I get a 10-point font (size 2, I think). What’s your default size?

  5. gordo says:

I’d probably link more often, but some of my readers already suspect that my site is nothing more than a front, created to pump up your link total.

  6. Alon Levy says:

Well, blog rankings count unique links, so as far as my link total goes, it’s enough for you to just put me on your blogroll.

But don’t let that prevent you from continuing to link to posts of mine that you like.
