Carnival of the Liberals

The First Anniversary Edition of the Carnival of the Liberals is up on Neural Gourmet, featuring the ten best posts of the year that got submitted. The highlight is Bora’s post about his son’s refusal to pledge allegiance to the US flag, which is my early pick for the 2006 Koufax Award for Best Post.

Other good posts, in addition to the one I wrote about the conservative culture of death, are Blue Gal’s post about religious politics (I need to go now, so I’ll make it quick: I have an aversion to religion in general because even if you strip it of authoritarianism, it’s still not true), and Nancy Jane Moore’s about the relevance of science fiction to politics.
